The FIGHT for The RIGHT!

Obama and Holder are Bringing the 9/11 Terrorists to NYC for Trial in Our Federal Court System and Having The SAME RIGHTS as We Citizens Have!!!

As you know by now, Obama and Holder are planning on bringing the 9/11 masterminds to
NYC for trial. There is a massive grassroots movement to block this – retired members of the FDNY, theBravest.com, have partnered with 9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong and America and Keep America Safe to bring attention to this travesty. They are recruiting the families & friends of the FDNY to combat this ill-conceived policy of the current administration. They are asking that all of America join in with them by signing their petition at the following link:

http://www.thebravest.com/fdny.htm

over the past 48 hours, 60,000 people have signed the petition. l heard the founder of thebravest.com on a NYC talk show tonight – he was in the WTC when it was hit, he is passionate about this, he is ready to go to the wall over this – he needs us to stand with him.

Pass this on to all your friends and ask them to also sign the petion and send it on to their friends.

Thanx

OBAMA has AARP in his POCKET, They are Shilling for HIS Healthcare Plan and Ignoring Needs of Seniors!

I was asked to help get this information to as many people as
possible. Please do the same thing by forwarding it to your entire
e-mail list of family and friends.

AARP officials walk out of meeting, refuse questions concerning
ObamaCare from angry seniors

Senior citizens who went to a meeting sponsored by AARP were left to
themselves after the AARP hostess walked out. The seniors were trying to
get answers concerning ObamaCare and why AARP would support a government
controlled health system that many believe would lead to euthanasia and
rationing of health care.

Why would AARP, the nation’s largest seniors group, supposedly working
for the elderly, support an ObamaCare bill?
Here is what Dick Morris,
former advisor to President Clinton, said: “The interest groups that
usually speak up for the elderly, particularly AARP, are in Obama’s
pocket, hoping to profit from his program by becoming one of its
vendors.
Just as they backed Bush’s prescription drug plan because they
anticipated profiting from it, so they are now helping Obama gut the
medical care of their constituents.”

Like the National Education Association (NEA), AARP has been taken over by
liberals. With millions of members, AARP is using its clout to push
ObamaCare on the elderly, even if it includes euthanasia. AARP supported
homosexual marriage by opposing Prop 8 in California
.
Take Action!
• Send your e-mail to AARP.
If you are
a member, do what the lady in Dallas did — cancel your membership.
AARP is going to use membership dues to help push ObamaCare.

• Forward this information to others so they can see how AARP is
spending their dues in promoting ObamaCare.

• American Seniors Association
(ASA) is an alternative we suggest you check out. AFA does not
officially endorse ASA, but simply offers it as an alternative to AARP.
We think you’ll be pleased with what you see.

Ode To Hillary – – It’s The Presidency to which you aspire !

Liar, Liar pants on fire

It’s your lies of which we tire.

You didn’t put your head down, you weren’t under fire

Your dishonesty has put you in the mire.

From this fiasco, let’s see you squeeze

You usually manage to slip out with ease.

The damage to your campaign is done

This time Bill wasn’t the one.

Sinbad says that he don’t lie

He says your stories just don’t fly.

Your head wasn’t down; it was in your ass

This time the media gives you no pass.

The time has come when we have to say

Hillary, Hillary please go away.

FISA approved by Senate – Bomb to Democrats

Yesterday the Senate voted to expand the authority of the Government spy/wiretap program for up to the next six years by a HUGE vote of 68 to 29. This is a BIG VICTORY for PRESIDENT BUSH and A STUNNING DEFEAT FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

John McCain voted in favor of the legislation while, curiously to me, Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama did not even vote but each issued a statement later that they opposed the final outcome. In review of the other Senators that from each state Clinton and Obama represent (Durbin D-Il and Schumer D-NY) they both voted against the measure.

Former Democratic Presidential candidates Russ Feingold and Chris Dodd both has been outspoken in their opposition to the bill and of course voted against it.

President Bush has asked the House of Representatives to follow the Senates lead and quickly approve the legislation. The current allowance for this form of protection for our country from the terrorists who want us dead is due to expire Saturday of this week.

I urge you to contact your Congress persons and voice your wishes that this bill be approved and sent to the President without change or delay as soon as possible. The fate of the Country could be in your hands!

It Appears Huckabee Aint’ so Hot!

The following is an excerpt from Real Clear Politics showing the amoung Net people, Huckabee just ain’t makin’ it! I would urge you to go to http://www.realclearpolitics.com and check out the complete story and a great site.

“So, how do we evaluate the contrast between Huckabee’s rise in national polls versus his lackluster reception in the righty blogosphere?

RCP.jpg

Real Clear Politics’ John McIntyre says Huckabee has benefited because: “I suspect the voters have been very much turned off by the recent nastiness between Giuliani and Romney.”

Sounds a lot like this morning’s post on how John Edwards is potentially benefiting from the Obama-Clinton cage match.”

Respect for the Office of President!

I ran across this column in a syndicated newspaper today and I was so impressed with the writing at the content I had to send it to as many people as possible. I emailed the author for permission to put it on my BLOGS. He said it would be OK. It will also appear on my other blogs as well. I hope you are as impressed as I was.

Respect for the Office of President

To my memory, it began in earnest on August 9th, 1974. That was the day President Richard Nixon ascended the stairs of the government helicopter parked on the White House lawn and was shuttled off to private life. It is one of those iconographic images: the president–both arms extended in his signature victory salute.

Yet is was no victory, the American president had become chum in the shark infested waters of the national media, and we the citizenry had developed an insatiable taste for blood.

Some 27 years later a scandal of a more intimate nature followed President Clinton from office, and as we gear up for another presidential election I am left with a lingering question from the Clinton era:  How is it that anyone, male of female, gained unrestricted, unmonitored access to the leader of the Western world within the confines of the oval office? Along with the obvious moral failure, there was an even greater security failure, a shot fired not across the bow of the American Presidency, but clear through the walls of the oval office.

It is my view that the Office of the American President is ultimately more important than who may occupy the seat of the president at any given time. And further that the protection of that office is one of the most vital security functions of our nation. It is not coincidental that while we were obsessing over the details of the Clinton debacle, our current shadowy enemy was engaging in their strategic plan to bring the war and indeed the rest of the world to our doorstep.

To restore and protect the integrity of the Office of the American President requires that our citizens accept that we do not have an inalienable right to know all there is to know about the president.  We need to relinquish our desire to know every misstep, every indiscretion, every flubbed line in a speech. That our need to know ends where our national security begins.

Our current field of primary candidates should realize that the Office they seek to occupy is more important than any of them will ever be: That the place to which they desire to ascend is sacred American space and the epicenter of American power and will.

All I ask of any president is that she or he be a person of integrity with a working knowledge of the world.  That they love the United States, and are willing to subjugate their own political aspirations for the sake of the office of which they are stewards.

I want to know that the windows of the oval office are still blast-proof; that the red telephone still works. That the anti-aircraft installation on the roof is at the ready, and that Air force One is standing by. The Office of the American Presidency is to be both revered and feared by friend and foe around the globe.

Who’s Afraid of Obama !

I just read Frank Rich’s New York Times article about all the people who are extremely afraid of Barack Obama and why. I find it unbelievable! What a piece of leftist NYT crap.I am convinced however that either Frank Rich is mistaken and thinks Obama is running for KING of the United States ala Garfield Goose or he is bucking for a job as Obama’s public relations director should by some miracle Obama is elected to the number one slot!He paints a picture of an omniscient, omnipotent and puritanical Barack Obama I have yet to see and that is surely a figment of Rich’s imagination. He points out that race has almost been a non-issue in the campaign thus far and then proceeds to dwell on Obama’s blackness and how it will be taken by both blacks and whites. In other words he has made an issue of a non-issue. Rich is a master with words no doubt but his ability in this piece is blinded by his fawning obsession for Obama and his hatred for everybody else.

Hope Rides Alone

This was sent to me from a friend via email and I felt that I should do my part to help the world to read it. I can only assume it is genuine, I have no way to verify but on the chance that it is not, the message still rings loud and clear:

“Let’s stop all the political nonsense, let’s stop all the bickering,
let’s stop all the bad news, and let’s stand and fight!”

This young leader had a lot to say. Too bad he did not survive and go
on to provide his leadership to many others.

Here’s young man, young in years but wisdom far beyond his age. He was
killed in Iraq but left some words that need to be read. Not to take a
few minutes to do that would be a disservice to his sacrifice.

Please read and pass on to anyone you like

Very meaty piece of commentary from a fallen Warrior……

*************************************************************************

SGT. Edmund John Jeffers last few words were some of the most touching,
inspiring and most truthful words spoken since the tragedy of 9/11 – and
since our nation went to war.
SGT. Jeffers was a strong soldier and talented writer. He died in Iraq
on September 19, 2007. He was a loving husband, brother and son. His
service was more than this country could ever grasp – but the least you
can do for the man who sacrificed his life for you … is listen to what
he had to say.
Listen up and pay attention to all of the Cindy Sheehan’s and Al
Franken’s of the world. To MSNBC, CNN, and CBS. To all who call
themselves Americans …Hope Rides Alone.

Hope Rides Alone
By Eddie Jeffers

I stare out into the darkness from my post, and I watch the city burn to
the ground. I smell the familiar smells, I walk through the familiar
rubble, and I look at the frightened faces that watch me pass down the
streets of their neighborhoods. My nerves hardly rest; my hands are
steady on a device that has been given to me from my government for the
purpose of taking the lives of others. I sweat, and I am tired. My back
aches from the loads I carry. Young American boys look to me to direct
them in a manner that will someday allow them to see their families
again…and yet, I too, am just a boy….my age not but a few years more
than that of the ones I lead. I am stressed, I am scared, and I am
paranoid…because death is everywhere. It waits for me, it calls to me
from around street corners and windows, and it is always there.
There are the demons that follow me, and tempt me into thoughts and
actions that are not my own…but that are necessary for survival. I’ve
made compromises with my humanity. And I am not alone in this. Miles
from me are my brethren in this world, who walk in the same
streets…who feel the same things, whether they admit to it or not. And
to think, I volunteered for this… And I am ignorant to the rest of the
world…or so I thought.

But even thousands of miles away, in Ramadi , Iraq , the cries and
screams and complaints of the ungrateful reach me. In a year, I will be
thrust back into society from a life and mentality that doesn’t fit your
average man. And then, I will be alone. And then, I will walk down the
streets of America, and see the yellow ribbon stickers on the cars of
the same people who compare our President to Hitler. I will watch the
television and watch the Cindy Sheehan’s, and the Al Franken’s, and the
rest of the ignorant sheep of America spout off their mouths about a
subject they know nothing about.
It is their right, however, and it is a
right that is defended by hundreds of thousands of boys and girls
scattered across the world, far from home. I use the word boys and
girls, because that’s what they are. In the Army, the average age of the
infantryman is nineteen years old. The average rank of soldiers killed
in action is Private First Class. People like Cindy Sheehan are
ignorant. Not just to this war, but to the results of their idiotic
ramblings, or at least I hope they are. They don’t realize its effects
on this war. In this war, there are no Geneva Conventions, no cease
fires. Medics and Chaplains are not spared from the enemy’s brutality
because it’s against the rules. I can only imagine the horrors a
military Chaplain would experience at the hands of the enemy. The enemy
slinks in the shadows and fights a coward’s war against us. It is
effective though, as many men and women have died since the start of
this war. And the memory of their service to America is tainted by the
inconsiderate remarks on our nation’s news outlets. And every day, the
enemy changes…only now, the enemy is becoming something new. The enemy
is transitioning from the Muslim extremists to Americans. The enemy is
becoming the very people whom we defend with our lives. And they do not
realize it. But in denouncing our actions, denouncing our leaders,
denouncing the war we live and fight, they are isolating the military
from society…and they are becoming our enemy.

Democrats and peace activists like to toss the word “quagmire” around
and compare this war to Vietnam. In a way they are right, this war is
becoming like Vietnam. Not the actual war, but in the isolation of
country and military. America is not a nation at war; they are a nation
with its military at war. Like it or not, we are here, some of us for
our second, or third times; some even for their fourth and so on.
Americans are so concerned now with politics, that it is interfering
with our war. Terrorists cut the heads off of American citizens on the
Internet…and there is no outrage, but an American soldier kills an
Iraqi in the midst of battle,
and there are investigations, and
sometimes soldiers are even jailed…for doing their job. It is
absolutely sickening to me to think our country has come to this. Why
are we so obsessed with the bad news? Why will people stop at nothing to
be against this war, no matter how much evidence of the good we’ve done
is thrown in their face? When is the last time CNN or MSNBC or CBS
reported the opening of schools and hospitals in Iraq? Or the leaders of
terror cells being detained or killed? It’s all happening, but people
will not let up their hatred of Bush. They will ignore the good news,
because it just might show people that Bush was right.

America has lost its will to fight. It has lost its will to defend what
is right and just in the world. The crazy thing of it all is that the
American people have not even been asked to sacrifice a single thing.
It’s not like World War Two, where people rationed food, and turned in
cars to be made into metal for tanks. The American people have not been
asked to sacrifice anything. Unless you are in the military or the
family member of a service member, its life as usual…the war doesn’t
affect you. But it affects us. And when it is over, and the troops come
home, and they try to piece together what’s left of them after their
service…where will the detractors be then? Where will the Cindy
Sheehan’s be to comfort and talk to soldiers and help them sort out the
last couple years of their lives, most of which have been spent dodging
death and wading through the deaths of their friends? They will be where
they always are, somewhere far away, where the horrors of the world
can’t touch them. Somewhere where they can complain about things they
will never experience in their lifetime; things that the young men and
women of America have willingly taken upon their shoulders.

We are the hope of the Iraqi people. They want what everyone else wants
in life: safety, security, somewhere to call home. They want a country
that is safe to raise their children in. Not a place where their
children will be abducted, raped, and murdered if they do not comply
with the terrorists demands. They want to live on, rebuild and prosper.
And America has given them the opportunity, but only if we stay true to
the cause, and see it to its end. But the country must unite in this
endeavor…we cannot place the burden on our military alone. We must all
stand up and fight, whether in uniform or not. And supporting us is more
than sticking yellow ribbon stickers on your cars. It’s supporting our
President, our troops and our cause.

Right now, the burden is all on the American soldiers. Right now, hope
rides alone. But it can change, it must change. Because there is only
failure and darkness ahead for us as a country, as a people, if it
doesn’t.
Let’s stop all the political nonsense, let’s stop all the bickering,
let’s stop all the bad news, and let’s stand and fight!

Eddie’s father, David Jeffers, writes:
I’m not sure how many letters or articles you’ve ever read from the
genre of “News from the Front,” but this is one of the best I’ve ever
read, including all of America’s wars. As I was reading this, I forgot
that it was my son who had written it. My emotions range from great
pride to great sorrow, knowing that my little boy (22 years old) has
become this man. He is my hero. Thank all of you for your prayers for
him; he needs them now more than ever. God bless.

Though Eddie is no longer with us, you can help to let his voice be
heard.
