The FIGHT for The RIGHT!

Obama’s Healthcare Bill Turns Out to be a HOT ISSUE for one Group!

The Obama administration is turning up the heat on tanning salons across the country with the passage of its new health care bill. To help fund the $940 billion health care overhaul, a 10% tax on individuals receiving indoor tanning services was tacked on, and the initiative is expected to generate $2.7 billion over ten years

I wonder IF this is how he intends to HELP small business survive?

Can Barack Obama “weather” the Storm, The Union Takeover of his Administration BECAUSE HE SOLD OUT TO THEM IN THE CAMPAIGN!

Here is a prime example and better said than I could put it:

UNIONS ARE CRIPPLING OBAMA
The home “weatherization” jobs in the stimulus bill were subjected to Davis-Bacon wage regulations — a favorite of the AFL-CIO Building and Construction Trades Department — under which federal Labor Department officials establish “prevailing wage” rates that must be paid. Why do unions like this system? Because the “prevailing wages” are determined in a way that guarantees they are usually more than the actual market wage, sometimes by large margins. All that finagling takes a certain amount of bureaucracy, however — and time, says Slate.

According to the GAO report:

The Department of Labor spent most of last year trying to determine the prevailing wage is for weatherization work, a determination that had to be made for each of the more than 3,000 counties in the United States.
As a result, the Department of Energy apparently weatherized only 22,000 homes under the program.
Another pre-existing program, which doesn’t have to comply with Davis-Bacon, appears to have weatherized about 100,000 homes.
That’s OK. It’s not as if speed was important last year in terms of putting people to work. Oh wait, it was, says Slate.

“If you allocate money to weatherize homes, the homeowner gets the benefit of lower energy bills. You right away put people back to work, many of whom in the construction industry and in the housing industry are out of work right now. They are immediately put to work doing something,” President Obama told attendees at a recent Town Hall meeting in Elkhart, Indiana.

Instead, a year was wasted on mindless, union-demanded bureaucratic attempts to disingenuously replicate the labor market. Did Obama not know this would happen when he allowed the stimulus to be Davis-Baconized, or did he not care? He knows and cares, but is too weak to stand up to the unions, says Slate.

Obama’s Congress is Giving Easy Money to Un-Qualified Home Buyers Thru The FHA as It Did With Fannie and Freddie. Barney Frank in The Drivers Seat!

Easy-money mortgages is still provided, by the feds

Is the ghost of Ted Kennedy driving this?

Easy-money mortgages with little or no down payment for buyers/pigs with bad credit/no credit was a thing of the past? The money trough is open.

You can get the money today, guaranteed by the federal government.

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd at work:

Loans insured by the (FHA) have become “the new subprime,” and these loans are exposing taxpayers to the same kinds of soaring default rates and losses that brought down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as well as destroyed many banks and the private market for mortgage loans. Frank and Dodd don’t care as long as the shlubs that borrow this money vote for them and their party!

While private lenders learned a lesson from the mortgage crisis and are shying away from easy-money loans, the FHA has stepped in. The agency is backing for 37 percent of all mortgages used to buy homes this year.

After the collapse of the private mortgage market last year, Congress and the George W. Bush administration greatly expanded the FHA’s original Depression-era program aimed at assisting sales of modestly priced homes by more than doubling the ceiling on loans that the agency can insure to $625,500 while maintaining its loose lending terms – ensuring that nearly any home sale could be covered by the agency.

The FHA’s predominance was enhanced further this year when Barack Hussein Obama’s Congress lifted the ceiling to more than $729,000 for major urban areas and passed an $8,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers that can be accelerated for borrowers to use as a down payment on FHA loans and avoid any cash commitment to their home purchases. No money down on big money homes means forclosure in a year or two and a HUGE loss to the American Taxpayer!

While these changes were intended to be temporary and expire by the end of the year, given the fragility of the housing and mortgage markets, Congress is considered likely to extend them this fall. Of course they will, 2010 is an election year.

Use of the same bad credit practices that were at the root of the housing crisis, likely feeding further waves of default and foreclosure. But this time it is the taxpayer – not the banks – who could end up holding the bag.

The surging default rates of more than 30 percent on loans insured since 2006 by the FHA. That is not far below the 40 percent rate of default and foreclosure on the notorious subprime loans that ignited the credit crisis.
FHA’s portfolio is exploding and the taxpayer is now on the hook for 100 percent of the losses,”

FHA’s growing default problems are the results are the same – unsustainable/bad loans perpetuate the nightmare of foreclosures.”

It is estimated that 20 percent of the FHA’s entire portfolio of $725 billion mortgages will end up in foreclosure – and FHA agrees . It is predicts that the FHA will require a taxpayer bailout within two to three years. Yet, they continue to push the bad money out the door as the behest of Barack Hussein Obama and his minions in Congress like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.

One reason defaults are soaring is they are lending to homebuyers who haven’t saved enough to make down payments. Loans with little or no down payment (no owner investment) have high rates of loss is because the borrower has little or no financial stake in losing their homes to foreclosure.

The FHA requires a minimal 3.5 percent down payment – far below the 20 percent now required by private lenders.

Many borrowers have been able to avoid that minimal level of l investment in their homes. Obama’s administration is enabling these buyers to put up no cash at all allowing them to get advanced payments of the $8,000 homebuyers tax credit through arrangements with nonprofit housing groups and state housing agencies. The tax credit can be used the same way to pay closing costs.

Beyond the loosened standards on down payments, the FHA remains willing to make loans to people with low credit ratings, even those with histories of default, foreclosure or bankruptcy. Those with histories of default are far more likely to default again.

.

The FHA has a program that will help people who missed two or three payments under such duress by using the insurance fund to make those payments for them and then recouping the money when the property is sold – a provision that has been used in about 400,000 cases so far and could help to bring down the foreclosure rates on loans that go into default as a result of the recession. In other words, don’t even pay your mortgage, Obama’s boys will pay it for you! This is deceptive and covering up bad loans.

The agency also is considering tightening standards for borrowers who pose multiple risks, such as those with histories of default. Sure they will, after the FHA is in such trouble that Obama will have to once against use OUR money to bail them out!

Responsible lending would spoil the housing recoverybecause the FHA has effectively replaced subprime lenders who went bust. They’re under pressure by Barack Hussein Obama to prop up housing prices, and are insuring heaps of risky loans.

The FHA’s backers in Congress, led by House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, a Massachusetts Democrat Congressman, maintain that high default rates are the price of Congress’ decision to use the FHA to prevent a complete collapse of the housing and mortgage markets in a time of extreme distress. What does he care, not at all just as he didn’t care when Fannie and Freddie went broke!

By keeping affordable loans flowing, particularly to the growing ranks of first-time homebuyers, the FHA has been critical to our nation’s economic and housing market recovery.

But even some liberal housing advocates say the FHA’s spectacular expansion is worrisome.

Given the huge ramp up in its lending in a very short period of time, it seems unlikely that the FHA has been able to adequately scrutinize the loans that it is buying.

While any bailout of FHA likely would be small the crippling of the FHA as a lender would be another blow to the housing market and would be a serious political blow to efforts to ensure access to mortgages for moderate-income families.

Chris Matthews feels “SOMETHING RUNNING DOWN” his leg!

You have all heard that the  obnoxious, fawning, Barack Obama loving news talker, Chris Matthews, host of the MSNBC program Hardball, told his staff on Wednesday night that he would not run for the Senate in 2010 from Pennsylvania.  Matthews had been considering entering the Senate race as a Democrat (now that is a news flash) in his home state at the same time he was renegotiating his contract with NBC News. He had attended several meetings that had included Pennsylvania representatives as well as some major fund-raisers in the Democratic Party.

The story on the street is that MSNBC made him a salary offer he couldn’t refuse to stay on and do his gushing coverage of “the Messiah” but I think the REAL STORY is that he got cold feet and the Pennsylvania Democratic honchos told him that “he just ain’t pretty enough” to beat old Arlen Spector in the election or raise anywhere near enough money from legitimate donors to try.

Now, I want you to realize that I am not a fan of Spector (RINO that he is) but at least he sits on the RIGHT side of the aisle. Obama lover, Matthews would probably have turned out to be a camera hog, the likes not seen since Jesse Jackson Sr or Al Sharpton anyway.

See Sarah, there IS a Santa Claus!

A Black Columnist Give His View on Barack Obama

What a Black Columnist has to say about Obama.

Ken Blackwell – Columnist for the New York Sun

It’s an amazing time to be alive in America . We’re in a year of firsts in this presidential election: the first viable woman candidate; the first viable African-American candidate; and, a candidate who is the first frontrunning freedom fighter over 70. The next president of America will be a first.

We won’t truly be in an election of firsts, however, until we judge every candidate by where they stand. We won’t arrive where we should be until we no longer talk about skin color or gender. Now that Barack Obama steps to the front of the Democratic field, we need to stop talking about his race, and start talking about his policies and his politics.

The reality is this: Though the Democrats will not have a nominee until August, unless Hillary Clinton drops out, Mr. Obama is now the frontrunner, and its time America takes a closer and deeper look at him. Some pundits are calling him the next John F. Kennedy. He’s not. He’s the next George McGovern. And it’s time people learned the facts.

Because the truth is that Mr. Obama is the single most liberal senator in the entire U.S. Senate. He is more liberal than Ted Kennedy, Bernie Sanders, or Mrs. Clinton. Never in my life have I seen a presidential frontrunner whose rhetoric is so far removed from his record. Walter Mondale promised to raise our taxes, and he lost. George McGovern promised military weakness, and he lost. Michael Dukakis promised a liberal domestic agenda, and he l ost.

Yet Mr. Obama is promising all those things, and he’s not behind in the polls. Why? Because the press has dealt with him as if he were in a beauty pageant. Mr. Obama talks about getting past party, getting past red and blue, to lead the United States of America . But let’s look at the more defined strokes of who he is underneath this superficial “beauty.”

Start with national security, since the president’s most important duties are as commander-in-chief. Over the summer, Mr. Obama talked about invading Pakistan, a nation armed with nuclear weapons; meeting without preconditions with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who vows to destroy Israel and create another Holocaust; and Kim Jong II, who is murdering and starving his people, but emphasized that the nuclear option was off the table against terrorists – something no president has ever taken off the table since we created nuclear weapons in the 1940s. Even Democrats who have worked in national security condemned all of those remarks. Mr. Obama is a foreign-policy novice who would put our national security at risk.

Next, consider economic policy. For all its faults, our health care system is the strongest in the world. And free trade agreements, created by Bill Clinton as well as President Bush, have made more goods more affordable so that even people of modest means can live a life that no one imagined a generation ago. Yet Mr. Obama promises to raise taxes on “the rich.” How to fix Social Security? Raise taxes. How to fix Medicare? Raise taxes. Prescription drugs? Raise taxes. Free college? Raise taxes. Socialize medicine? Raise taxes. His solution to everything is to have government take it over. Big Brother on steroids, funded by your paycheck.

Finally, look at the social issues. Mr. Obama had the audacity to open a stadium rally by saying, “All praise and glory to God!” but says that Christian leaders speaking for life and marriage have “hijacked” – hijacked – Christianity. He is pro-partial birth abortion, and promises to appoint Supreme Court justices who will rule any restriction on it unconstitutional. He espouses the abortion views of Margaret Sanger, one of the early advocates of racial cleansing. His spiritual leaders endorse homosexual marriage, and he is moving in that direction. In Illinois , he refused to vote against a statewide ban – ban – on all handguns in the state. These are radical left, Hollywood , and San Francis co values, not Middle America values.

The real Mr. Obama is an easy target for the general election. Mrs. Clinton is a far tougher opponent. But Mr. Obama could win if people don’t start looking behind his veneer and flowery speeches. His vision of “bringing America together” means saying that those who disagree with his agenda for America are hijackers or warmongers. Uniting the country means adopting his liberal agenda and abandoning any conflicting beliefs.

But right now everyone is talking about how eloquent of a speaker he is and – yes – they’re talking about his race. Those should never be the factors on which we base our choice for president. Mr. Obama’s radical agenda sets him far outside the American mainstream, to the left of Mrs. Clinton.

It’s time to talk about the real Barack Obama. In an election of firsts, let’s first make sure we elect the person who is qualified to be our president in a nuclear age during a global civilizational war.

Subject: Kind of scary, wouldn’t you think Remember–God is good, and is in time, on time–every time. According to The Book of Revelations the anti-christ is: The anti-christ will be a man, in his 40s, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal….the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destroy everything. Is it OBAMA?? I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to repost this as many times as you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet…do it! If you think I am crazy..Im sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the “unknown” candidate

Obama say Al Bore witll have Top Post in “His’ Administration?

Here are a few paragraphs from an article in yesterday’s news that say Nobama is going to give Al Bore a top level government position over global warming!

A woman at a town hall asked the Illinois senator if elected president would he consider tapping the former vice president for his Cabinet, or an even higher level office, to address global warming.

“I would,” Obama said. “Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem. He’s somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I’m already consulting with him in terms of these issues but climate change is real.”

Gore, who’s work on climate change earned him a Nobel Prize, he is popular among Democrats.

This PROVES Nobama is not thinking straight. Al Bore is a charletan, a faker, a phony, a windbag of hot empty air! Remember his claim that he “INVENTED THE INTERNET”? It’s the same with global warming. There are as many scientists that belive there is no such thing as believe there is. What global warming IS doing is making some people very wealthy and the only melting it’s doing is to the the savings of people like you and I. It is causing increased taxes on you and I and of course that is something Democrats love to do, increase YOUR TAXES. What does Al Bore’s movie and has Oscar and Nobel Prize have to do with anything? I will answer – NOTHING, he is still a BORE!

Hell, even Hillary is smarter than this, there’s no Bore for her!

I urge you to think thrice before you cast your vote for Nobama!

Obama is closing in on Hillary in Pennsylvania-McCain is Still # ONE !!!

Hillary leads Obama by only 5% points (47% Clinton and 42% Obama)now for the lead vote getter in the Pennsylvania primary coming up on April 22, 2008 as opposed to 13% points 2 weeks ago according to Rasmussen Reports poll out yesterday. In an addition, the poll asked if they would like either candidate to drop out of the race and give the other a go at McCain, 21% said Clinton should drop and 18% said Obama should drop out.

While the above is for the Pennsylvania primary, the numbers for the nomination itself are showing at 45% for Clinton and 44% for Obama in a national poll and in a poll taken on who would the voter vote for if the election were held today, McCain grabs 47% to Obama’s 41% and McCain 46% to Clinton’s 42%. McCain has a national favorable poll of 57% and unfavorable of 41%.

There is a lot of time left “until the fat lady sings”!

I believe Obama has stepped into a BIG mess!

The following is a quote, YES, I said a quote from a speech Senator Obama gave in a town hall meeting in Western Pennsylvania:

“Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” he said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

What ever was he thinking? How does he sit with Catholic voters after this? I can’t believe that his handlers would even let him get that deep into the subject of abortion.

I can’t understand as a father, Grandfather and Great Garndfather how having a baby is PUNISHMENT! Of those children, several were born out of wedlock. Believe me they are not PUNISHMENT for anyone. Mr. Obama you have, I am sure alienated many people with that comment!

Why Obama is really “NOBAMA”!

Here is the proof! It comes from the left leaning MSNBC program “The Raw Story” The information shown below is on all three Presidential candidates.

McCain’s lifetime attendance record is fairly solid — he’s missed 11 percent of votes since 1987 — and he’s nowhere near as missing from the Senate as Sen. John Kerry four years ago, when he missed 72 percent of votes in 2003-04 alone, says the New York Times. Clinton has missed 27 percent of Senate votes, while “NObama” missed 37 percent of Senate votes.

It seems the Democratic candiates have missed the most votes by far. One thing that is NOT STATED above is that in McCain’s 31 years in the Senate and only missing 11 percent of the votes for that period, he ran a campaign for President back in 2000 just as he is now. “NObama” who has only been a Senator of 3 years has more than tripled the amount of missed votes in the Senate over John McCain and more than doubled those missed votes of Hillary Clinton.

Maybe “Nobama” looks toward John Kerry, who lost his only bid for the Presidency, as an idol figure?

Does “NObama” only cast votes for the bills HE is interested in or worse, only for those that are not controversial in nature?

Was he too busy traveling or possibly it was more important that he write a book or two!

I think the voters (especially Illinois residents who he allegedly is representing) have a RIGHT to know and that he has an obligation to tell us with specifics!

Democratic Political Venom

The following is  a paragraph from today’s NYT online. It is part of a comment from Senator Patrick Leahy who has called for Hillary Clinton to resign and resume a remarkable career in the Senate:

“I am very concerned. John McCain, who has been making one gaffe after another, is getting a free ride on it, because Senator Obama and Senator Clinton have to fight with each other. I think that her criticism is hurting him more than anything John McCain has said.”

He, Leahy, is attempting by streching the truth beyond its limits, to demean Senator McClain for his recent mixing up of the Sunni’s and the Shiites in a speech. Leahy going far and away from the facts when he says ” McCain has been making one gaffe after another”. What the hell does he call the lies of Obama and Clinton? How does he explain Obama, who ius his chosen candidate, condoning a Preacher damning America, blaming the U.S.A. for 9/11, his remarks about Italians and Jews? How does he rationalize Obama’s no votes in the Senate both the U.S. Senate and the Illinois Senate before that? Thius man is an embarrassment to the voters of Vermont who blindly keep electing him to the Senate. Maybe they will wake up.
