The FIGHT for The RIGHT!

Franken is a REAL JOKE, Whines and Cries over loss to Coleman!

I pulled this off a Yahoo site and as I was reading it I thought to myself, this guy is a piece of work. He employs various “questionable” (ACORN) vote registrars, has God only knows who register at the polls on election day (if that isn’t a system that invites vote fraud I don’t know what would be) and he has the AUDACITY to Hope that a recount would enhance his totals to win.

He was a second rate comic in my opinion, followed by a failure on Air America and I can’t help but wonder WHY the good people of Minnesota would chose a loser like him (Franken) over Norm Coleman! Go Figure!

I hope he whines and cries and ultimately ends up losing with a greater spread between Coleman and himself.

Norm Coleman will be certified the winner of the contest for Minnesota’s Senate seat by the state Canvassing Board today. Yesterday the Franken campaign asked the board not to certify the result until certain rejected absentee ballots are included in the final count. The board rejected the Franken campaign’s motion to include the rejected absentee ballots or to delay certification.

What was the thinking of the Franken campaign in bringing its motion to prevent certification of the result? The Franken campaign apparently wants to reduce the risk that any Minnesota newspaper will run a headline reporting that Senator Coleman won the election.

Coleman’s margin of victory over Franken in the certification is expected to increase today by nine votes, from 206 to 215 votes. The Star Tribune reports that the nine additional votes derive from “a post-election audit conducted in a sampling of about 200 precincts to check the accuracy of voting machines.”

There has as yet been no full accounting for the previous adjustments that resulted in the shrinking of Senator Coleman’s margin from 725 votes on the morning of November 5 to the 206 votes that preceded any final adjustment. Some day perhaps the Minnesota media will get around to taking a look in the interest of a fullly informed citizenry. Given Senator Coleman’s narrow margin of victory, the result certified today will be subject to a mandatory recount. The recount begins tomorrow and will last for three weeks. The Secretary of State’s office has established a page with recount information here.

Democratic Political Venom

The following is  a paragraph from today’s NYT online. It is part of a comment from Senator Patrick Leahy who has called for Hillary Clinton to resign and resume a remarkable career in the Senate:

“I am very concerned. John McCain, who has been making one gaffe after another, is getting a free ride on it, because Senator Obama and Senator Clinton have to fight with each other. I think that her criticism is hurting him more than anything John McCain has said.”

He, Leahy, is attempting by streching the truth beyond its limits, to demean Senator McClain for his recent mixing up of the Sunni’s and the Shiites in a speech. Leahy going far and away from the facts when he says ” McCain has been making one gaffe after another”. What the hell does he call the lies of Obama and Clinton? How does he explain Obama, who ius his chosen candidate, condoning a Preacher damning America, blaming the U.S.A. for 9/11, his remarks about Italians and Jews? How does he rationalize Obama’s no votes in the Senate both the U.S. Senate and the Illinois Senate before that? Thius man is an embarrassment to the voters of Vermont who blindly keep electing him to the Senate. Maybe they will wake up.

It Appears Huckabee Aint’ so Hot!

The following is an excerpt from Real Clear Politics showing the amoung Net people, Huckabee just ain’t makin’ it! I would urge you to go to http://www.realclearpolitics.com and check out the complete story and a great site.

“So, how do we evaluate the contrast between Huckabee’s rise in national polls versus his lackluster reception in the righty blogosphere?

Real Clear Politics’ John McIntyre says Huckabee has benefited because: “I suspect the voters have been very much turned off by the recent nastiness between Giuliani and Romney.”

Sounds a lot like this morning’s post on how John Edwards is potentially benefiting from the Obama-Clinton cage match.”

Rosie Leaving The View

Well, it seems that the public pressure has finally gotten through. The people who wrote/emailed/called the sponsors (I sent 30 emails to sponsors myself) explaining their outrage that this liberal jackass of a woman be allowed on a program that they sponsor and that she be allowed to verbally attack people, our government and make out like she knows everything when in fact she knows nothing. She has the gall to charge the Bush Administration with being the control behind the planes flying into the World Trade Center on 9/11. She even gave us an idea of just how “smart” she is by telling us that steel doesn’t melt and therefore the 9/11 disaster was an “inside job”. Do not believe for one moment that she is leaving because of a contract dispute regarding the length of her time on the show. She is leaving because she is a loudmouth who can’t get along in the real world and they dumped her. As I have stated in a previous post, the world will be better off if Rosie goes back in the closet and somebody bars the doors so she can’t get out.

Sorry Rosie but I will not miss you for one second when you are gone.

Thank You for giving up and thereby once again bringing integrity to The View!

Bye Rosie! Bye Rosie!
