  1. Do you realize that making English the official language would mean that hospitals would not be required to have translators? Is that really fair to the tourist who is hurt in a car accident or a legal resident who hasn’t yet mastered the language? Don’t let you zeal harm innocent people.

  3. AbbyZeal and Bruno:

    You MUST both be joking! This is The United States of America, we speak English here, we should not need signs and instructions in Spanish, Frence, Polish or whatever. If people want to live here they must speak and understand our language and that should be a requirement just like a citizenship test.
    Think about it!
