U.S. sends 12 Guantanamo detainees to home countries

Twelve inmates have been transferred from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to Afghanistan, Yemen and the breakaway Somali enclave of Somaliland, the U.S. Justice Department said on Sunday.

Six Yemeni and four Afghan detainees were sent over the weekend to their home countries while two Somalis were transferred to regional authorities in Somaliland, an self-governing region within Somalia, the department said.

The transfers are the latest from the controversial prison President Barack Obama has pledged to close next month, but that deadline will likely be missed because of diplomatic and political hurdles…

What a wonderful gift to terrorists everywhere all around the world. Just in time for the holidays!

Here is another story of a terrorist Obama sent home to Afghanistan:

Mohammed Jawad was accused of throwing a grenade that injured two U.S. soldiers and their interpreter in Kabul in 2002. Jawad, one of the youngest prisoners held at the facility, was now with his family in Kabul, according to his lawyer Air Force Major David Frakt.
Mr. Jawad was seen by an Afghan policeman throwing the grenade at the US soldiers, killing one and wounding another and their interpreter.
Mr. Jawad’s partner was grabbed while in the process of throwing another grenade.
And, Mr. Jawad had two more grenades on his person at the time of his arrest.
Lastly, as we have also already noted, Mr. Jawad confessed to his crimes at least twice – once to the Afghan police and then to the US authorities.
There has been no suggestion that the Americans tortured him.
But never mind all of that.
One of the themes of the Obama regime seems to be ‘guilty as hell, free as a bird.’
Of course this is exactly what one should expect from a Justice Department headed by someone (Eric Holder) whose law firm defended Guantanamo Detainees

Now this man, Jawad, is suing the U.S. Government and he is being backed by Afghan President Karzai!

Yet another Ramadan present from Mr. Obama.

Barack Obama’s PRO-HOMOSEXUAL Appointee NEEDS to Be REMOVED FROM his Job – - As Head of The United States Office of Safe Schools!

This is no joke, KEVIN JENNINGS, an activist for HOMOSEXUAL ADVOCASY was actually appointed to this position by BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. This is the epitome of Obama throwing his liberal beliefs in the face of the American people.

At least fifty three members of Congress have signed and sent a letter to President Obama requesting the removal of Kevin Jennings, the pro-homosexual activist who was appointed to head the nation’s office of safe schools.

There is a an online website http://www. StopJennings.org. It tells why those in Congress believe Jennings is unfit to hold the office.

It was reported last week ,books promoted for children by the homosexual advocacy organization Jennings founded, the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network, include descriptions on child molestation, adult-child sex, explicit descriptions of sex acts and tales of cruising restrooms for sex.

Several book titles recommended for children are “Queer 13,” “Passages of Pride,” “Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian,” “In Your Face,” “Mama’s Boy, Preacher’s Son” and “Love & Sex: Ten Stories of Truth.”

It was reported the campaign to remove JENNINGS was started with a dozen members of Congress asking Obama to take action and remove Jennings:

“We respectfully request that you remove Kevin Jennings, the Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, from your administration. It is clear that Mr. Jennings lacks the appropriate qualifications and ethical standards to serve in this capacity.”
The letter was signed by U.S. Reps. Doug Lamborn of Colorado, Steve King of Iowa, Duncan Hunter of California, Darrell Issa of California, Paul Broun of Georgia, Joe Pitts of Pennsylvania and others. The lawmakers pointed out Jennings “has played an integral role in promoting homosexuality and pushing a pro-homosexual agenda in America’s schools.”

I URGE you to call the Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan at 800-872-5327 and demand that he remove Kevin Jennings from the Department of Education.

However, expect a rebuff! Duncan, a Harvard garduate buddy of Obamas was also raised in the Hayde Park Community of Chicago. Duncan also actively promoted the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, known as a radical education organization formerly headed by WILLIAM AYRES and BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Duncan was put in charge of the Chicago Public School system by Mayor Daley (Chicago Democratic Machine) and while under his leadership Chicago Public Schools passed a comprehensive curricula entited the Family Life and Comprehensive Sexual Health Education policy in 2006. It is also important to note that while Duncan was the head of Chicago schools, he spent the second highest amount per indivudal student in the nation but his average test scores showed little if any improvement. It makes a person wonder IF he was the correct person to appoint to the post of Secretary of Education by Barack Hussein Obama!

If you examine the prior private sector experience of the cabinet officials since 1900 that one might expect a president to turn to in seeking advice about helping the economy. It includes secretaries of State, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Interior, Labor, Transportation, Energy, and Housing & Urban Development, and excludes Postmaster General, Navy, War, Health, Education & Welfare, Veterans Affairs, and Homeland Security—432 cabinet members in all.
When you examine the cabinet positions that Barack Hussein Obama has made, only about SEVEN PER CENT HAVE HAD ANY PRIOR PRIVATE SECTOR EXPERIENCE IN WHAT THEY DO, so says an analysist at J.P. Morgan.

The Presidents with appointments of members with the MOST experience before Washington were; Eisenhower – 59%, Reagan – 58%, George H.W. Bush – 52% and George W. Bush – 52%! Strangely enough they were ALL Republicans! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Kennedy – 28% and Obama – 7-% were the lowest!

Obama has His Eye on the Ball or so He says. I say he has HIS Eyes Closed to the Truth!

This is the oath of office that Barack Hussein Obama took last January 29th:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Do you think he has lived up to that oath? I don’t! Obama even had the gall to say the Constitution is outdated and needs to be revised. Revised for what; to allow Barack Hussein Obama to be King of the United States? He forgets, that title was held by Garfield Goose!
He talks a good case but he does nothing. He even gets awards for doing absolutely nothing. What awards are those you ask; Well, the Nobel Peace Prize is a great example. He did nothing to get that award. His being the one who would receive the award was decided eight days after he was sworn in as President. The award was for his accomplishments as President of the United States. What accomplishments, maybe getting the White House cleared of any of the Hollywood Liberal hangers on after the Inauguration parties. What could he have done in the first eight days? He didn’t even know where the bathroom was. This man is an embarrassment.
He stated during his campaign the GWB “took his eye of the Ball” numerous times. He said he would go into Afghanistan and clean out Bin Laden and the Taliban no matter what it took. He blasted GWB for his handling of the Iraq/Afghanistan wars and now he will not allow the term “War on Terror” to be used. He delays months after General McChrystal requests 40,000 troops in deciding whether or not to send the troops while we waste more lives and more money. He said getting Bin Laden was his number one priority but he has not mentioned Bin Laden more than four times since being elected. Obama has had HIS eyes closed to what is REALLY going on.
I could go on and on but this President, President Barack Hussein Obama, does not know what he is doing, his advisors don’t know what they are doing. All he is looking for is getting social programs passed ie. government controlled healthcare, card check, gay marriage, open abortion, Cap and Trade etc so he will have his so called legacy! If all goes according to Obama’s plan, his real legacy will be the socialization of America along with making America a third rate world power. He is not following the mandate the oath gave him to follow the Constitution, he is making up his own rules as he goes along! He is on his way and he and his crew of yes men must be stopped.
2010 brings mid-term elections and the best way to stop Obama’s plan is to throw out as many Demoocrats and republicans in Congress who vote with his programs and regain control of Congress as we did when Clinton was President and then in 2012 vote Obama out of office and the rest of the Democrats who are ruining this country.

Barack Obama vs. George W. Bush. . . Barack Obama Loses By Showing up!

On local Houston radio 2 days ago a private from Ft. Hood called into the AM talk show on 950AM. Since then the host has verified just to be sure that the man was indeed an injured soldier so as not to be fooled.
Anyway, the private was with some others that were not critically hurt in a ward. He called in to offer the “difference” between the visit from President Bush vs the visit from President Obama.
As you stated, no one knew President Bush was coming, he just showed up. WITH NO PRESS OR CAMERAS AT ALL! The private says that he spent a lot of time visiting with EACH soldier. He said he sat on the stool at his bedside for about 5 minutes and HELD HIS HAND and spoke with him. Then he did the same with the others. He said his words were heartfelt and they had a conversation.
Compared with the visit of President Obama. First off the private said was the advance team that he said made sure there was nothing on the bedside tables Obama did not want in the pictures. (like what a bible maybe?) Then he said a man whose name he forgot came and gave them all a lecture about what they were ALLOWED TO SAY AND DO while the President was there. He said they could not speak unless HE spoke to them, and could not TOUCH him unless he touched them.
This guy you could tell was not left bashing. He said that Obama gave a prepared speech to the whole group, NO PERSONAL BEDSIDE VISITS. Then he went around and shook their hands, but still no words to them other than his prepared remarks. Then he left.
And that my friends is the difference. Just like the Dover visit. President Bush used to go a lot, but he never took the press with him. We did not know that, did we, until a couple of weeks ago.
The difference between an American and a foreign pretender is VERY obvious isn’t it!

I don’t know if it is true or not BUT it certainly seems so from what we have seen from President Bush and thus far from Barack Hussein Obama. Obama has never met a camera he didn’t like or a primetime news cast he didn’t want to be on. The man has an ego as big as Alaska and is a confirmed narcissist!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 27% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. This is the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for President Obama.
Fifty-two percent (52%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 68% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major political party, just 16% Strongly Approve and 51% Strongly Disapprove (
Forty-five percent (45%) want U.S. troops home from Afghanistan either right away or within a year.Forty-three percent (43%) are opposed to such a firm timetable.
Fifty-three percent (53%) of voters worry that the federal government will do too much when it comes to reacting to the nation’s financial problems. That’s up seven points since President Obama took office.
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.
Overall, 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That matches the lowest level of total approval yet measured for this president. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats approve as do 33% of unaffiliated voters. Eighty-three percent (83%) of Republicans disapprove.
Among all voters, 54% now disapprove. (of Obama that is)
Support for the health care plan proposed by the President and Congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low of 38%. Sixty percent (60%) of voters believe passage of the bill will lead to higher health care costs.

All in all, it appears that Barack Hussein Obama is failing/falling in the eyes of the voters. It also appears that like the mid-term elections in 1994 when the Republicans took back both houses of Congress, it may happen again in 2010. Holy Moley, I hope so! I have to ask, as I often do, why is it that NONE of this is reported in the mainstream media?
