Politics of the RIGHT!

Want Conservative Judges on SCOTUS, Vote for John McCain!

Another Reason to Vote for John McCain !

If elected, McCain said Tuesday, he would think of conservative Justices John Roberts and Samuel Alito “as the model for my own nominees” to the Supreme Court.  What a great comment and made by a man who is NOT afriad to go out on a limb for what he believes and says so!

Obama wouldn’t do it, he would dance around the subject and Clinton would lie about it!

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., May 6—Highlighting an issue he plans to use aggressively in the general election campaign, Sen. John McCain on Tuesday decried “the common and systematic abuse of our federal courts by the people we entrust with judicial power” and pledged to nominate judges similar to the ones President Bush has placed on the bench.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee said that Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. “would serve as the model for my own nominees, if that responsibility falls to me,” highlighting the gap between Republicans and Democrats on the question of who should sit on the Supreme Court. Both justices have established strong conservative records since Bush appointed them, and the appointment of one more conservative to the nation’s highest court could tip the balance on issues such as abortion, discrimination, civil liberties and private property.

The two remaining Democratic candidates, Sens. Barack Obama (Ill.) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), opposed the nominations of Roberts and Alito.

Pelosi wants to GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY to Illegals and Poor

nancy-pelosi-wants-windfall-tax/

>  Windfall Tax on Retirement Income   Adding a tax to your

retirement is simply another way of saying to the American people, you’re so darn stupid that we’re going to keep doing this until we drain every cent from you. That’s what the Speaker of the House is saying. Read below……………

Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income.  In other words tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement. This woman is a nut case! You aren’t going to believe this.  Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities!  This woman is frightening.  She quotes…’ We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn’t Marx say something like this), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.’

>  When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she

replied: ‘We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities.

Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as ‘Americans’.’  (Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.  Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it.

OBAMA’s News Conference BACKFIRES!

Obama is drawing heat from both the black and the white community for his news conference denouncing Jeremiah Wright last week. He has hit the first of many brickwalls in the months to come and this one is hurting him badly. The following information has been taken from a Rasmussen national poll released today.

“A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 30% of the nation’s Likely Voters believe Barack Obama denounced his former Pastor, Jeremiah Wright, because he was outraged. Most—58%–say he denounced the Pastor for political convenience. The survey was conducted on Wednesday and Thursday night. Obama made his statements about Wright on Tuesday.”

Obama’s stock with the voters has been dropping of late and the loss in Pennsylvania to Clinton and now this make Indiana and North Carolina look shaky next Tuesday.

Alan Keyes has no Key to The Presidency!

Alan Keyes is, IMHO, a wacko. He is very intelligent but not too awful smart.

He and the morons in the Illinois Republican Party are responsible, again in my humble opinion, for catapulting Obama to where he is today. The Illinois Republicans you may recall put Keyes up as a candidate for U.S. Senator when Jim Ryan dropped out because of a sex scandal involving he and his former wife, actress Jeri Ryan of SHARK (T.V. Show) fame. Keyes moved into the black section of Calumet City and made a multitude of mistakes. Obama won by a landslide and the rest is history. Keyes has been a Presidential aspirant for a number of years and now when shunned by the Republicans he switched allegiance to the Constitution Party.

A vote for Alan Keyes in 2008 would be as useful as a vote for any one of the three stooges!

Reverend Wright’s Time in The Sun and it’s Obama getting BURNED!

Bob Herbert is an op-ed columnist for the New York Times and has written an exceptional article that you will find printed in total below. Mr. Herbert tells it like it is about the Wright/Obama controversy!

  • April 29, 2008
    Op-Ed Columnist

    The Pastor Casts a Shadow

    “The Rev. Jeremiah Wright went to Washington on Monday not to praise Barack Obama, but to bury him.

    Smiling, cracking corny jokes, mugging it up for the big-time news media — this reverend is never going away. He’s found himself a national platform, and he’s loving it.

    It’s a twofer. Feeling dissed by Senator Obama, Mr. Wright gets revenge on his former follower while bathed in a spotlight brighter than any he could ever have imagined. He’s living a narcissist’s dream. At long last, his 15 minutes have arrived.

    So there he was lecturing an audience at the National Press Club about everything from the black slave experience to the differences in sentencing for possession of crack and powdered cocaine.

    All but swooning over the wonderfulness of himself, the reverend acts like he is the first person to come up with the idea that blacks too often get the short end of the stick in America, that the malignant influences of slavery and the long dark night of racial discrimination are still being felt today, that in many ways this is a profoundly inequitable society.

    This is hardly new ground. The question that cries out for an answer from Mr. Wright is why — if he is so passionately committed to liberating and empowering blacks — does he seem so insistent on wrecking the campaign of the only African-American ever to have had a legitimate shot at the presidency.

    On Sunday night, in an appearance before the Detroit N.A.A.C.P., Mr. Wright mocked the regional dialects of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. I’m not sure how he felt that was helpful in his supposed quest to bring about a constructive discussion about race and reconciliation in the U.S.

    What he is succeeding in doing is diminishing the stature of Senator Obama. A candidate who stands haplessly by as his former spiritual guide roams the country dropping one divisive bomb after another is in very little danger of being seen by most voters as the next J.F.K. or L.B.J.

    The thing to keep in mind about Rev. Wright is that he is a smart fellow. He’s been a very savvy operator, politically and otherwise, for decades. He has built a thriving, politically connected congregation on the South Side of Chicago that has done some very good work over the years. Powerful people have turned to him for guidance and advice.

    So it’s not like he’s naïve politically. He knows exactly what he’s doing. Forget the gibberish about responding to attacks on the black church. That is not what the reverend’s appearance before the press club was about. He was responding to what he perceives as an attack on him.

    This whole story is about Senator Obama’s run for the White House and absolutely nothing else. Barack Obama went to Rev. Wright’s church as a young man and was blessed with the Christian bona fides that would be absolutely essential for a high-profile political career.

    Faster than anyone could have imagined, the young Mr. Obama became Senator Obama and then the leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination. Then came the videotaped sermons and the roof caved in on Rev. Wright’s reputation. Senator Obama had no choice but to distance himself, and he did it as gently as he felt he could.

    My guess is that Mr. Wright felt he’d been thrown under a bus by an ungrateful congregant who had benefited mightily from his association with the church and who should have rallied to his former pastor’s defense. What we’re witnessing now is Rev. Wright’s “I’ll show you!” tour.

    For Senator Obama, the re-emergence of Rev. Wright has been devastating. The senator has been trying desperately to bolster his standing with skeptical and even hostile white working-class voters. When the story line of the campaign shifts almost entirely to the race-in-your-face antics of someone like Mr. Wright, Mr. Obama’s chances can only suffer.

    Beyond that, the apparent helplessness of the Obama campaign in the face of the Wright onslaught contributes to the growing perception of the candidate as weak, as someone who is unwilling or unable to fight aggressively on his own behalf.

    Hillary Clinton is taunting Mr. Obama about his unwillingness to participate in another debate. Rev. Wright is roaming the country with the press corps in tow, happily promoting the one issue Mr. Obama had tried to avoid: race.

    Mr. Obama seems more and more like someone buffeted by events, rather than in charge of them. Very little has changed in the superdelegate count, but a number of those delegates have expressed concern in private over Mr. Obama’s inability to do better among white working-class voters and Catholics.

    Rev. Wright is absolutely the wrong medicine for those concerns. “

Is it Rev. Wright vs. Sen. Obama ??

The following quote is the headline from a Chicago Tribune Article taken off the Net:

Rev. Wright says ‘devious’ forces behind use of his words against Obama

I listened to Rev. Wright on the news from two of his Washington speechs and IMHO the good Reverend is trying to undermine the candidacy of Barack Obama.

Preposterous you say! Not so say I, he references things that Obama would like to keep out of the media such as Obama’s middle name “Hussein” and the attachment that Obama has with Reverend Wright. He will not apologize for his hate filled remarks and demands that the United States apologize for the treatment of African’s long ago.

I think, because of Wright’s actions and words (remember “WORDS DO MATTER”) that he is doing more DAMAGE to Obama than help and the reason is that Wright is trying to keep his own image clean.

Wright has more than had his 15 minutes of fame, lets let this anti-American and apparently anti-white preacher retire in peace in his majestic residence paid for by the people of his church.

That is if he will let us!!

He will not be quiet. He will not be muzzled. He is an attention whore!

What Obama and Clinton will due to our TAXES if Elected!

Taxes…Whether Democrat or a Republican you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing.

  www.taxfoundation.org/publications/show/151.html

Taxes under Clinton 1999                   Taxes under Bush 2008

Single making 30K - tax $8,400             Single making 30K - tax $4,500

Single making 50K - tax $14,000          Single making 50K - tax $12,500

Single making 75K - tax $23,250          Single making 75K - tax $18,750

Married making 60K - tax $16,800       Married making 60K- tax $9,000

Married making 75K - tax $21,000       Married making 75K - tax $18,750

Married making 125K - tax $38,750     Married making 125K - tax $31,250

Both democratic candidates will return to the higher tax rates

It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can’t wait for it to happen. This is like the movie “The Sting” with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don’t even know what happened.

What Costs BILLIONS of OUR MONEY? More Than the Iraq War!

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much?

      Read this:

Boy am I confused.  I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us.

I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them.  I have included the URL’s for verification of all the following facts.

1.      $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.     Verify at: http://tinyurl.com/zob77

9.  $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens. Verify at: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10.  The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens.  In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.  Verify at: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11.  During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries.  Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.  Verify at: Homeland Security Report:  http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

Change - Democratic Style

 CHANGE!

 In just two years .  Remember the election in 2006?

 Thought you might like to read the following:

 A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet;

2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;

3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);

4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);

5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;

6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!

Remember it’s Congress that makes law not the President. He has to work with what’s handed to him.

Quote of the Day……..“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.  I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it.” — Barack Obama

If you believe it has merit, send it on to your friends and your email buddies!

Then, when it comes time to vote, vote for a man who will take the steps to stop gang violence and put those murderers in prison where they belong, not for someone who gives them a license to kill!

Vote for John McCain - BIG MAC!
